Founding member Jose' Diaz Rodriguez, hails originally from Cochabamba, Bolivia and is determined to bring his love of Andean music and deep sense of cultural spiritualism to his new adopted home in Australia, Jose travels the world to show people that good Australians can come from many rich backgrounds and cultures. Leading Inka Marka on expeditions to Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa and New Caledonia, to perform at Festivals and Events as ambassadors of the Andean nations, Jose has never forgotten his cultural and spiritual roots that make him the corner stone of the band.

Jose is the hardworking mover and shaker behind the band, always arriving earlier than the birds..to scope out the performance site, unload the equipment with military precision,and leaving himself time to meditate and prepare for the performance.
